About
Ruth's photographic journey has been eclectic. As a journalist she began with editorial shots covering a wide variety of topics - news, sports, features, and events. As Editor of community newspapers she was responsible for the taking of photographs, film development as well as page layout.
Her passion for art photography blossomed during her many travels where she was inspired by landscape and architecture. She furthered her studies in Photography. She exhibited at the Segal Centre in Montreal and was awarded a third place award from her alma mater alumni magazine (Toronto Metropolitan University). She began receiving commissions by friends and corporations to shoot portraits and other artistic subjects.
Whatever the milestone Ruth works closely with subjects to make sessions fun and comfortable producing beautiful images that capture the emotion.

Approach
My job when shooting an event is to put the subjects at ease. To let them be themselves so images captured represent the essence of those subjects.

Event photography: Hourly rate for shooting photos of events/people. No complex packages or offerings. I shoot and you get the photos that include some basic editing. You can do with them what you like

Fine art prints: I offer a selection of fine art prints in a variety of sizes in several categories. Choose your size and the signed print will be delivered to you.
